This week's walk takes us to the Kelsall area once again, as you explore the golds and ambers of autumn in Primrosehill Wood.

Although mainly comprised of woodland, the route also incorporates a stretch on a quiet country lane, which offers spectacular views looking out to Wales on one side, and towards Manchester on the other.

Horn's Mill pupils will create LEGO figures to help raise money for charity

Over half term, Horn's Mill Primary School will be asking its pupils to build their best and most creative LEGO model, to help raise money for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

In this fun challenge, children will make a LEGO brick creation of their choosing, whether it be a spaceship, a super hero or a castle, before asking their friends and family to sponsor their efforts by making a small donation to the Charity.

Cllr Dawson is leaving Frodsham to take up a post in the Falkland Islands Government

Town and borough councillor for Frodsham, Cllr Andrew Dawson, has bid farewell to the town ahead of his move to work for the Falkland Islands Government.

Cllr Dawson's resignation from Cheshire West and Chester council will take effect at the close of tonight's (Thursday 22nd October) full Council meeting, after which he will assume his new post as the Falkland Islands' Head of Legal Services.
