Frodsham Town Council have this week objected to a planning application seeking to transform the town's former police station into a 'private boutique studio facility'.

The building, which is located on Ship Street, has been empty for several years, and was sold in 2019. The application had suggested the creation of a new facility offering movement therapy, pilates, fitness and dance classes.

In this, the last week of ReMix Creatives' 'Material Matters' exhibition at the Castle Park Arts Centre, I spoke to artist Deb Kemp, about creating artwork during lockdown.

Established over 15 years ago, ReMix Creatives is a small private group of mixed-media artists, who exhibit annually at Castle Park. Deb, who is a painter, print-maker and art teacher, has been a member for seven years.
