Today (Tuesday 23 March) marks one year since the first national lockdown began in Britain, and sometimes it is hard to believe that, 365 days later, we are still under such stringent restrictions.

Frodsham's Police Community Support Officer, Neil Flanagan, has suggested that Saltworks Farm Playing Fields may be the focus of a new 'Street a Week' policing scheme.

Local resident, Pauline Lowrie, has been co-opted onto Frodsham Town Council as a Councillor for Overton & Five Crosses ward.

Cllr Lowrie was welcomed onto FTC during a Full Council meeting on Monday 22 March.

Work is well underway to make Manley Road Copse a more welcoming place for local residents to enjoy.

On Wednesday (17 March), Frodsham Town Council Amenities Committee agreed to hire a contractor to carry out maintenance on the Copse, which is already looking neater.

Helsby Parish Council is to co-opt a new councillor for the village's North Ward following the resignation of Cllr John Kimpton.
