Flowers created by the children of Frodsham CE Primary School

Primary school pupils in Frodsham, Helsby and Kingsley used yesterday's National Day of Reflection to create touching symbols of hope and remembrance.

Horn's Mill Primary School classes have been busy creating their own Miller Meadow of Memories, fashioning colourful flowers out of tissue paper, plastic, paint and paper, to represent their recollections of the past year.

We are now just five days away from 29 March, the date when we will legally be allowed to meet up with more than one person from outside our household for the first time since the New Year.

From Monday, the 'stay at home' order will be lifted and up to six people will be able to gather outdoors, including in private gardens. However, indoor mixing will still be banned.

On Sunday (21 March), the organisers of Tributes on the Hill announced that they would be giving away 100 tickets to NHS workers in order to say 'a massive thank you' for all they have done in the past year.

This was met with an 'amazing response', with all the tickets being claimed by healthcare workers across the country, including staff from South Wales and the North East.
