A local mother and daughter have set about creating and selling Christmas decorations to raise money for the NHS during lockdown.

Zan Stanton and her daughter Evie, who is only nine years old, have been busy making wooden snowman, Santa and reindeer decorations for local people to buy, with 50% of profits "going to our amazing local NHS workers to thank them for everything they do."

Cheshire West and Chester Council are preparing to distribute a series of grants to local businesses who have been forced to close, or who will be severely affected, by this month's lockdown.
