Primary school pupils in Frodsham, Helsby and Kingsley used yesterday's National Day of Reflection to create touching symbols of hope and remembrance.
Horn's Mill Primary School classes have been busy creating their own Miller Meadow of Memories, fashioning colourful flowers out of tissue paper, plastic, paint and paper, to represent their recollections of the past year.
Team 1 also discussed the things they have missed and the things they have enjoyed during lockdown, writing down memories from the year with pictures to illustrate.
Frodsham CE Primary School pupils have also been reflecting on the people they miss as well as looking forward to brighter times to come.
The children then crafted beautiful flowers in all the colours of the rainbow and planted them outside the school for passersby to enjoy.
As well as painting their own daffodils, pupils at St Luke's Catholic Primary School also planted real flowers both in remembrance of the past and in anticipation of the future.
Frodsham Manor House's Potter Class dedicated the day to acts of hope and kindness, writing cards for key workers, staging a school litter pick and buying suspended coffees for the local homeless community.
Meanwhile, Shakespeare class were reflecting on the people who have helped them through the past year, decorating paper flowers with colourful patterns, messages and memories.
Helsby Hillside Primary School's Year 4 class were also thinking about their experiences in the past year, writing down their thoughts, feelings and notes of thanks.
Finally, over at Kingsley St John's, pupils made 'reflection daffodils', which they hung along the school fence to share with local residents.
