Frodsham Town Council have agreed to set aside £10,000 for professional assistance in outlining and costing potential plans for the future of Green Gates Park.

Speaking at yesterday's Frodsham Town Council meeting, Cllr Helen Hayes reported the decisions of a recent Options Appraisal Working Group meeting on September 24th, which narrowed the fate of the Ship Street site down to four options:

Coronavirus cases in Cheshire West have trebled in the past two weeks.

Cheshire West and Chester Council's Outbreak Board are calling for more stringent restrictions on household mixing within the borough following a sharp increase in Covid-19 cases.

In yesterday's meeting, Ian Ashworth, the Council's Director of Public Health, reported that Cheshire West's infection rate has trebled since August, meaning that it now sits at around 55 cases per 100,000 members of the population.

The Zodiac were forced to postpone their performance due to the Covid-19 pandemic

Amateur musical theatre society, The Zodiac, have announced that their performance of Flashdance: The Musical will now take place in autumn 2021.

The show, which will be the amateur premier of Flashdance, was due to take place in April 2021, but the introduction of more stringent coronavirus restrictions last week made it impossible for The Zodiac to audition and rehearse.
