Environment Secretary, George Eustice, has today visited Delamere Forest to make a speech about the government's strategies for conserving our tree life and peatlands.

The speech, 'Tackling the Twin Threats of the Nature and Climate Crisis', was streamed by The Wildlife Trust on YouTube, where it can still be viewed.

Tomorrow (Wednesday 19 May) marks the day of Frodsham's Annual Town Meeting, a chance for electors to celebrate local achievements, ask questions and raise issues with the Town Council and other organisations.

An appealed planning application seeking to replace an existing Bellemonte Road house with four new dwellings and detached garages has been dismissed.
