Frodsham Junior Football Club has shared an update about the construction of a new 3G all weather pitch and changing facility at Helsby High School.
The £1.2 million project is being delivered by the Football Foundation, Cheshire West and Chester Council, Frodsham JFC and the High School itself.
Work on the pitch was due to be completed by autumn 2020 but was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the development is now starting to take shape, with the changing pavilion being built off-site before it is installed in sections at Helsby.
When completed it will comprise changing rooms and showers for the home and away teams as well as the referees and match day officials.
There will also be a kitchen/café facility, a communal room with seating for up to 50 people, toilets and an outside decked area.
You can view a series of photos of the development on the Frodsham JFC website.
