The Devonshire Bakery's Robert Crowther has appeared in a series of Cheshire West and Chester Council videos reflecting on how the borough's businesses have adapted to coronavirus restrictions.

In the video, Robert explains that the Devonshire's delivery service helped to keep the bakery going through lockdown, adding that heightened hygiene measures are now allowing a 'Calm, Warm, Careful' return for regular customers to the 120-year-old business.

Tomorrow, Monday 17 May, Step 3 of the government's roadmap out of lockdown will come into effect, meaning that Frodsham's hospitality venues can welcome customers back into their indoor spaces, with some reopening their doors for the first time since Christmas.

Inside these pubs, restaurants and cafés, groups of up to six people from different households, or larger gatherings of a maximum of two households, will be able to socialise, without having to order a substantial meal with an alcoholic drink.

Residents are being invited to have their say on Cheshire West and Chester Council's Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) to tackle irresponsible dog owners.

In October 2018 the Council introduced a wide range of measures covering the control of dogs and encouraging responsible dog ownership, which are now due for review. A consultation launched yesterday, Thursday 13 May.
