In a parallel universe, members of the public would now be wandering through Castle Park's galleries, enjoying the gentle beauty of the Wednesday Art Group's latest exhibition.
However, that reality being very distant at present, the Arts Centre has decided to put the Group's work into a virtual display, which can be viewed on their Facebook page.
The exhibition - 'To a Brighter Future' - features a series of pretty and peaceful scenes from Frodsham and its environs.
The artists involved have said that producing their artwork has served as a coping mechanism throughout the pandemic, and this is borne out in the finished pieces.
From Carol Sutton's quirky Fratsum paintings to John Graven's lovely watercolour tributes to the town's buildings, the exhibition evokes an environment unaltered by the sorrows and stresses of Covid-19.
While the human life surrounding Frodsham's streets, countryside and wildlife has been thrown into flux, these permanent fixtures remain the same, pulling us on into our 'Brighter Future'.
Founded around 20 years ago, the Wednesday Art Group is a group of local artists who normally meet every Wednesday morning at Castle Park Arts Centre.
The Group is very popular with its members, many of whom have been attending since it was founded.
If you are interested in any of the pieces shared, please message the Arts Centre Facebook page for details.
