After a Covid-induced hiatus, the Kingsley Players are back on stage with two one act plays.
Between Friday 29th and Sunday 31st January, the Players will debut Alice's Quest for Wonderland, written by award-winning writer and directory, Lynn Pegler.
Turning the focus away from Alice and onto her locally born creator, this play explores the real-life relationship between Lewis Carroll and the girl who inspired one of our best loved stories.
The three man show will be performed by James Partington, Matt Jones and Lynn herself, in a socially distanced auditorium.
Alice's Quest for Wonderland will then be followed by Jim Cartwright's bitter-sweet comedy, TWO, which will run between Thursday 4th and Saturday 6th February.
This two-hander, performed by Neil Silcock and Sue Elliott, transports you to a 1980s night at the pub, exploring the values and relationships that underpinned - and underpin - working class communities in the North of England.
Covid restrictions permitting, the box office for both plays will open in early January.
