A local woman has challenged herself to walk 50 miles in March to raise funds for Frodsham Youth Association.
In celebration of her fiftieth birthday this year, Laurel Bell is walking 50 miles each month in support of a range of different charities.
January saw her raise £275 for Maggie's Cancer Centres, while in February she gathered together £220 for Bowel Cancer UK.
Laurel chose Frodsham Youth Association as her next charity because of the safe and inclusive activities it offers to young people aged 8-19.
"They run services to give young people the chance to have fun, try new things and achieve their potential.
"This year they need to raise around £500 a week to make that happen," she wrote on her JustGiving page.
Having walked 20 miles already this month, Laurel has raised £370 for the Association so far.
Good luck with the rest of the challenge!
