Progress on the new Helsby Community Sports Club is fantastic and our new facility remains on track to open early 2021.

Our volunteer executive committee is busy pulling together a long list of plans, procedures, systems and people to ensure a smooth, safe and welcoming opening for you all! We are getting there but still need some more help in some areas.

Are there any local people with some spare time and a Health & Safety at Work background who would like to join us?

We are currently looking for a volunteer Health & Safety Officer to oversee and check we are complying with our (already written) risk assessments in our day to day running of the club.

Also, whilst we will be employing staff to help with the running and management of the sport facilities and clubhouse, we would also like to continue our tradition of volunteers!

Could you spare a morning, afternoon or evening to meet and greet our guests and users and ensure a welcoming community experience?
