Easter weekend is here, and there are just ten more days until the return of non-essential retail and outdoor hospitality!

Although we are still under lockdown restrictions, this year promises to be quite different to Easter 2020, which fell right at the height of the first wave of Covid-19, when we were only supposed to leave our houses for an hour of exercise each day.

This time round there are a growing number of outdoor activities that the whole family can enjoy, including Frodsham WI's Easter Egg Trail.

WI members have been busy hand-painting 110 wooden eggs, which have now been laid at 12 different spots around Frodsham, from Manley Road Copse to Saltworks to Castle Park.

So if you're out walking this weekend, keep an eye out for these lovely little bursts of colour, and see how many you can spot!

Happy Easter!
