Frodsham Weaver Vale Primary School staff are on a mission to travel 2,000 miles in two months to raise money for a updated playground.

The aim is to run, walk and cycle the equivalent of a trip to St John's, Canada, before January 31st, to raise £2,000 for the first stage of this Big Project.

That means that each of the 20 staff members signed up will need to cover 100 miles.

"As a small school we do not get adequate funding to be able to fund refurbishment projects, such as a new playground.

"It is our intention to work together to raise this money, so that our children can have the first class playground that they fully deserve," said Frodsham Weaver Vale on their JustGiving page.
