Frodsham Junior Football Club Under 14 Girls are raising money for Cancer Research UK through their Frodsham to Linlithgow Challenge.

Throughout March, the team will aim to walk, run and cycle 488 miles, the distance there and back from their home pitch at Helsby High School to Linlithglow, Scotland, which is where one of the Club coaches is from.

Later this year, the Under 14 Girls will hopefully be visiting the town for real, as they play a match against the local team.

In the first two days of the challenge, Frodsham JFC Girls have already raised a whopping £520 for Cancer Research, a third of their initial target!

You can donate to the fundraiser by clicking here.

The team will be posting updates of their progress on their Twitter account, @FrodshamFCGirls.
