Fun fact: did you know that there is another Frodsham on the other side of the world?

In the Central Highlands region of Tasmania, nestled between two steep, wooded hills, you will find Frodshams Pass.

Nearer Hobart, close to Canopus Hill Observatory, there is also a hill called Frodshams Saddle.

I wonder who named these places in such a way, and what it was about the Tasmanian landscape that inspired thoughts of Frodsham!

Not too far away from Frodshams Pass, there is also a Dee Lagoon, perhaps named after one of our local rivers.
