Local business, Ivy&Bee-Interiors, has won Best Retail Newcomer in the Living in Cheshire awards 2020!

Ivy&Bee's founder, Beth Greer, was delighted at the news, saying: "What a way to end the year and start a new one!

"Thank you so much to everyone that voted, it genuinely means the world."

Living in Cheshire began life as Altrincham Eats, a food review blog which soon diversified, and which now showcases a range of different businesses in our area.

It is run by Ella Thorpe, who introduced the awards in recognition of the creativity and perseverance displayed by local businesses this year.

"We've seen local favourites be forced to close their doors, some just for now, others sadly forever. But, we've also seen plenty of people start new ventures and existing businesses expand their offering," said Ella.

"That's definitely worthy of a celebration."

Best Newcomer awards were handed out to businesses which were only founded this year, but which have flourished despite the pandemic.
