Today (Saturday 5th December), is Small Business Saturday, a great opportunity to bag a bargain while 'shopping small'.

Today, independent businesses from across the UK will be offering discounts on their products, to encourage people to support their local traders.

In 2019, the seventh year of the campaign, it was estimated that £800 million was spent in small British businesses, with 17.6 million people taking part.

In and around Frodsham, there are several businesses offering Small Business Saturday deals.

For example, Mere & Meadow Eco Swaps are offering up to 40 per cent off their products for one day only.

Ivy&Bee-Interiors is offering free shipping for customers based further afield, and a 10% discount for local residents. Just add in the code 'Local10' at checkout!

Meanwhile, Leon Cycle Repair are encouraging people to take advantage of their pick up, tune and drop off service.

"When you shop small, you support big dreams," owners, Leon and Karen said on their Facebook page.
