Home Instead Frodsham, Runcorn and Widnes who support people living in their own home within our community have been celebrating length service with their team.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Home Instead CAREGivers have continued tirelessly in their work with their Clients, providing them with vital care and companionship.

Today, we celebrate the work of Rachel who has been a CAREGiver with Home Instead Frodsham, Runcorn, Widnes for the past nine years.

In this time, Rachel has offered her Clients home help, personal care and perhaps most importantly, friendship.

This is Rachels story:

"I have worked in the care sector for a number of years. When I had my son I needed a role that I could do part time that would fit around my child's needs.

"I saw an advertisement for Home Instead which appealed to me, so applied for a position. Home Instead were able to offer me hours that fit in with my home life, allowing me to be a working mum.

"Over the years, even though my circumstances have changed, they have always been able to facilitate my availability for work. Home Instead not only care for their clients' needs but also for their CAREGivers.

"It is a pleasure to work for such a professional and caring company. Clients are matched to CAREGivers really well and when attending calls, I don't feel like a worker but like part of the family.

"I have now worked for Home Instead for over nine years and wish to continue for many more."
