Community sector organisations in Frodsham carrying out projects aimed at reducing health inequalities are being invited to apply for grants from Cheshire NHS bodies.
Cheshire West and East Integrated Care Partnerships are working with Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group to distribute £660,000 of funding, with up to £30,000 available over 18 months to support each project.
Eligible projects will be working innovatively to address health inequalities in Cheshire West, promote inclusion and improve access to health services for those who may be receiving less support.
There are two streams of funding available:
Mental health support and interventions– applications are invited to focus on improving the mental health of people in Cheshire. Proposals should complement local support already in place (formal and informal support and services) and work with other organisations to direct people to more specialist support if needed.
Health and wellbeing – applications are invited to address the health priority areas set out by the care communities in Cheshire (for example, diabetes, cardio vascular and respiratory conditions, improving children's health). Similar to the mental health funding stream, proposals should complement local support already in place (formal and informal support and services) and work with other organisations to direct people to more specialist support if needed.
Applications close on Friday 2 July, with funding available from Friday 1 October. You can download a copy of the application form via this link.
