Frodsham Town Council is inviting local residents to help grit the town's pavements and footpaths this winter.

Volunteers who put their names forward will have one or two bags of de-icing salt delivered to their home next weekend, with further deliveries being arranged later on in the case of more cold weather.

The salt is not meant for private driveways or public roads, but rather for pathways and pavements around people's homes.

Existing volunteers have already been contacted to check if they would like to be involved, but new volunteers are asked to complete this form and email it to [email protected]. It can also be printed and returned to the Town Council office in Castle Park.
