Frodsham Town Council have called an extraordinary meeting

An extraordinary meeting of Frodsham Town Council has been called on Wednesday 24 February to discuss matters surrounding Council management and protocols.

During the meeting, Councillors will 'review the roles of the Chair, Committee Chairs, Councillors and the Clerk in relation to the management of FTC.'

A later agenda item will invite Councillors to discuss how FTC's reputation might be 'improved'.

The Council will also 'consider commissioning an independent investigation of the procedures followed by all working groups, to ensure all relevant protocols have been complied with, in particular in relation to approval for ordering and paying for goods and services.'

This comes after Councillors and members of the public queried the way in which last year's Christmas tree was procured.

The agenda page also contains a Zoom link to the meeting, which will begin at 6:30pm.
