It's that time again. The weekend is nearly here and we're back with our Frodsham Heroes feature!

This week we are celebrating the work of an ever-growing group in the community: the Frodsham Wombles!

Over recent months, this group of volunteers have been clearing litter from locations all around Frodsham, from the Caves all the way down to Gleave's Garden Centre.

This has not only helped to keep Frodsham looking clean and tidy, but has also fostered a real sense of community spirit and friendship within the town.

The local resident who nominated the 'Frombles' made special reference to Andrea Ellison, Susanne Daly and Muggivan Patricia, "for their trend-setting in clearing litter from out local environment."
