It's Friday, and that means we're celebrating another one of our local Frodsham Heroes.
This week we thank Paddy Bleakley and the team at Kash 22, who were nominated by Frodsham MP Mike Amesbury for the amazing community work they carried out during the first coronavirus lockdown last year.
As soon as they were forced to close their doors to customers in March 2020, the Kash 22 team set about making free, homemade meals for local residents who were shielding or vulnerable.
Grateful recipients were treated to everything from beef stroganoff to bread and butter pudding, healthy and hearty meals delivered straight to their door.
With the help of other local businesses including Cowards and Hales, Kash 22 were able to continue with this right up to when lockdown eased in the summer.
Then, in October half term, the team returned with free meals for local children missing their usual school meals.
What an amazing contribution to the wellbeing of Frodsham's local community, during such a difficult time.
