Duncan Cowley celebrates the beauty of Frodsham Marsh in new calendar

Local photographer Duncan Cowley has produced a calendar of images from one of his favourite stomping grounds, Frodsham Marsh.

"I get requests every year to do a calendar, but I never really felt I had a good enough selection of images depicting all the birds and scenes on the marsh until the last few months.

"With all of life's goings-on I never really found the time," Duncan says.

However, with November's lockdown restrictions and dark nights keeping us all inside our houses, Duncan has finally had the chance to sort through his many thousands of photos and produce "The Marsh" collection for 2021.

"I got 16 orders before I even advertised!" he adds.

"These are images unique to the Frodsham and Helsby area and photographed by myself over a 6 year period - I will personally sign each A4 size calendar.

"I just feel its the right time to do it. With more and more people ordering on line and the uncertainty of a new normal, local people may want these as gifts - its worth a try!"

Each calendar will cost £14.99, including postage and packaging.

Duncan is also putting together a Helsby RUFC calendar and an 80's Legends calendar.
