Have you noticed the cute little shop that has popped up at 38A, Main Street?
It belongs to Laura Gardiner, who runs Christmas gift wrapping service, That's a Wrap Cheshire.
So, if you hate wrapping presents, or are running short of time before the big day, never fear!
Laura offers a range of different packages, from basic wraps with brown paper, to luxury wraps complete with gift tags and accessories. She also stocks a collection of hand-painted Christmas cards from local artist, India's Studios.
There are a wide range of patterned papers available in the That's a Wrap workshop, and Laura's wrapping skills mean that even the trickiest of presents will look beautiful under the Christmas tree.
Eco-friendly
All of the wrapping paper that she uses, along with the Sellotape and tags, is recyclable, so as well as being incredibly handy, That's a Wrap is also eco-friendly! The idea for That's a Wrap came about earlier this year, when Laura, who usually works on cruise ships, was wondering how she could adapt to the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic. "Someone asked me what I really like doing, and I thought: "wrapping presents!"" she says. "I'm not normally a creative sort of person, but I really love Christmas." So, seeing that her little shop was available, Laura got to work, spending the November lockdown cleaning, clearing and decorating. After watching various gift wrapping tutorials, Laura was full of ideas for creative and personalised designs, including packaging aimed at disguising surprises."I feel like a real life elf!" she says.
That's a Wrap opened earlier this month, and will keep going right up to Christmas. Laura is also considering offering a Valentine's Day gift wrapping service in the new year.
After calling or messaging to book an appointment, customers can deliver their presents to Laura, who will let them know when they are ready to go.
She also offers a collection and delivery service, which is free for the over-65s.
To make sure that her service is Covid-safe, Laura sprays everything with sanitiser, and wears gloves while handling the presents.
When customers come to collect their gifts, she also advises that they quarantine the packages for 72 hours.
You can find out more about Laura's wrapping services on the That's a Wrap Instagram and Facebook pages.
