Cheshire Wildlife Trust has launched a photography competition calling for beautiful images of our local landscapes and wildlife.

The 12 winning entries will be featured in the Trust's 2022 calendar, with the overall winner enjoying the front page spot.

Frodsham is full of skilled photographers and it would be great to see our Marsh birds, or the view from Frodsham Hill, or the bluebells carpeting our local forest floors, make it into the winning selection!

"From birds to butterflies and gardens to nature reserves, we're looking for the special creatures and wild places you can find in our fabulous region," said Cheshire Wildlife Trust.

This year, the Trust are also looking for "that iconic Cheshire view, whether that be Bickerton Hill, Peckforton or Frodsham."

If coronavirus restrictions change before the closing date (Monday 31 May 2021), those wishing to enter can use archive images, and should not travel to take photos if the rules forbid it.

The competition will be judged by the Trust's Vice-President and award-winning photographer Ben Hall and editor of Your WildLife members' magazine, Jen Shutt.
