Frodsham & Helsby Rotary Club is making preparations for its popular and long-running Festival in the Park event.

Covid-19 restrictions permitting, the Festival will take place on Sunday 29 August at Castle Park, beginning with an official opening by the Town Mayor at 12:30pm.

It will be a day full of fun activities, including the finish of the Frodsham Downhill Run, which has for many years attracted many competitors of all ages.

Castle Park Arts Centre's galleries and shops will be open for visitors and hosting several art and craft displays, along with live entertainment.

The Festival main stage will be situated in front of the house in Castle Park, alongside stalls from local community trusts, organizations, societies, clubs and groups.

Finally, Frodsham's younger residents will be entertained by a range of rides, attractions and shows.

Entry to the Festival will be free, although visitors will be welcome to make a donation if they wish.

For more information, visit the Frodsham Town Council website or the Rotary Club Facebook page.
