Event of the Week: Frodsham Festival of Walks

By The Editor

25th May 2021 | Local News

Now that lockdown has eased enough to allow for outdoor and indoor socialising, there are summer activities and events popping up all over the place in Frodsham and Helsby.

You can keep up with some of these local and community goings-on on our What's On section and our regular Event of the Week article.

Our event for this week is the lovely Frodsham Festival of Walks.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year the festival is taking the form of eight self-led walks, which explore local landscapes including Frodsham Hill and Helsby Hills, Hob Hey Wood and the River Weaver.

You can find out more about these walks, as well as ideas for deepening your connection with and appreciation of our local natural environments, on the Frodsham Festival of Walks website.

Why not try out one or two of the routes and #RediscoverWhereYouLive?

You can list your local events, whether they be shows, films, sports fixtures, quiz nights, virtual markets, pub offers, choir rehearsals, or anything else, on our What's On page free of charge.

Just click this link and then the black 'Nub It' button.
