Helsby Scarecrow Trail returns for its 2020 edition

Helsby Scarecrow Trail is returning to local streets from the 24th-31st October, and is asking for entries under the theme of 'Children's Book Characters'.

Participants are asked to register their scarecrow to be in with a chance of winning a prize for the Best Residential, Best Commercial or Best Community Scarecrow.

Cheshire West and Chester Council have launched a consultation into their policy for providing services that can help children with Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND) and their families.

The services known as 'short breaks' give SEND children the chance to have time away from their families, make new friends and have fun.

The number of penalty charge notices distributed in Frodsham decreased rapidly between 2015 and 2019

New figures show that the number of parking fines handed out in Frodsham car parks and parking spaces has decreased dramatically since 2015.

A Freedom of Information Request by Frodsham Nub News found that, between 2015 and 2019, the number of vehicle owners receiving penalty charge notices from Cheshire West and Chester Council dropped from 557 to 143.
