Helsby FC Reserves entertained Princes Villa JFC today (Saturday 24th October), and what a performance by the Green Machine!

The game started in a constant drizzle and on 5 minutes Keelan Densmore fired the ball home from the back post. As the heavens opened so did the Princes defence.

Loc Stanier calmly slotted the ball home, then Lee Turkington wanted to get in on the act, getting a sublime and lethal eight minute hat trick.

Helsby FC's attacking play was reminiscence of slicing butter with a hot knife through the Princess defence.

Then with Princes pushing up to the half way line Billy Sammut got a diving header into the net and made it 6-0 to Helsby in just 24 minutes.

Helsby start the second half with keeper Cal making a "worldy" save to keep the score at a clean sheet.

Then the heavens opened again with Lee Turkington scoring another three goals, including an amazing free kick into the "postage stamp" to make the score 9-0.

A "double" hat trick by Lee T - this performance put a smile on every Helsby supporters face.

9-0 to the Green army - what a day!!
