Houses have been burgled in Northwich, Alsager and Ashley, where puppies were stolen

Cheshire Police's Rural Crime Team have issued advice on the safest way of buying or selling puppies, after burglaries in Northwich, Alsager and Ashley.

The most recent of these puppy thefts was reported on Wednesday 11th November, after 14 four-week-old Cockerpoo and Cocker Spaniel puppies were stolen from a house in Northwich during the previous night.

Food and household supply stalls are still open

As we wrote last week, under national lockdown restrictions, Frodsham Market's non-essential pitches have had to close. However, all essential stalls, including food, groceries and hardware supplies, are still open.

The stalls that you will find on the market today are much the same as last Thursday, but we thought it might be helpful to remind you of the list anyway!

Frodsham Leisure Centre

Cheshire West and Chester Council Cabinet have voted unanimously to proceed with their 'future vision' for leisure, health and wellbeing services in the borough.

A report outlining the findings of the public 'Shaping the Future' consultation, whose recommendations were approved by the Cabinet today (Wednesday 25th November) suggested that Frodsham Leisure Centre continue to operate 'on a limited basis in the short term', as it becomes a 'spoke' in Brio's new 'hub and spoke' model.
