Small businesses in Frodsham and the surrounding areas may be eligible for regular Covid-19 tests under a new Cheshire West and Chester Council service.

Firms which employ fewer than 250 employees and which operate outside the home may have the chance to access asymptomatic testing, especially if their work involves coming into contact with others.

An application to convert unused office space on the first and second floors of 105, Main Street into apartments has been given the go-ahead by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The apartments, which will sit above Artisan Green restaurant and B. Unique hairdressers, will both have two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Helen Watson, who has been shielding since March 2020, had her first dose on Friday, and is thrilled to have made this first step back to normality.
