On Friday 4 June, Watery Lane will be closed for approximately 80 metres from the junction with Kingsley Road to allow for United Utilities to replace frame and cover works.

The road will be closed for a maximum of five days, during which time it will be access-only. It is anticipated that the work will take one day to complete.

Members of Frodsham Town Council have met with a representative of Cheshire Police to discuss problems relating to antisocial behaviour at the Council-owned Memorial Field car park.

On 26 April 2021, Cllrs Judith Critchley and Caroline Ashton, Town Clerk Jo O'Donoghue, two members of the public and Designing Out Crimes Officer, Colin Marples, visited the site following repeated reports of vehicles gathering there, dropping litter, playing loud music and taking drugs.

Frodsham Town Council has agreed to alter the way in which it selects the Town Mayor and Deputy Mayor each year.

Until now, Frodsham's mayoral appointment system has been based on 'seniority', that is, the number of years a councillor has served, either from the date that they were elected to the Council or the date of their last been made Mayor.
