Cllr Caroline Ashton has been elected as Chair of Frodsham Town Council's Policy, Process & Revenue Committee.
Cllr Ashton, who was voted in unanimously during Monday's Committee meeting, replaces former Cllr Judith Critchley in the role.

The Frodsham area has been included on a list of potential locations for new Lidl stores.
Last week, the discount supermarket chain highlighted the areas that are "of particular focus this year," in its plans to open 1,000 shops by 2023.
On Tuesday night (29 June), firefighters were called to a fire in Weaver Crescent.
A fire crew from Frodsham arrived at the scene at 9:05pm to find a conifer well alight.

A group of friends have walked the whole Sandstone Trail in a single day to raise money for the mental health charity, Mind.
On Saturday (26 June), after months of training, Ian Savage and 17 of his friends set off from Whitchurch on their mammoth walk, on a mission to boost awareness of men's mental health issues while chatting about their own experiences during the coronavirus pandemic.
