Detectives investigating a burglary in Frodsham are appealing for information and video footage from members of the public.

Sometime between 8am and 9am on Saturday 3 July unknown offenders forced entry into a flat above the Top Shop store on Langdale Way.

Cheshire West and Chester Council has approved a planning application seeking to convert the former William Hill shop on Church Street into a drinking establishment.

William Hill closed in September 2019 and the shop was put up for sale in September 2020.

Shortly after 8.30pm last night (Sunday 4 July), firefighters were called to reports of an incident on the M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 12.

Firefighters from Runcorn, Widnes and Lymm attended the scene and found a fire involving a saloon car which was in lane two.

Pupils at Kingsley St John's Primary School have this week transformed a once bland wall into a wonderful wildflower meadow mural.

Children from Reception to Year 6 worked with local artist, Billie-Jo English, to decorate the wall, which runs between the school and the Horseshoe Garage, in a project organised in conjunction with Kingsley Parish Council.
