Frodsham's Morrisons supermarket is to undergo a deep clean as part of a bid to improve hygiene standards in its shops.
Every three weeks, Morrisons' 494 stores will all be cleaned from top to bottom, introducing new equipment and additional cleaning staff.

Craig Richardson, headteacher of Helsby Hillside Primary School, has been featured on the podcast of leadership advisory body, The Leaders Council.
The Leaders Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is currently in the process of talking to leadership figures from across the nation in an attempt to understand this universal trait and what it means in Britain and Northern Ireland today.

A Frodsham man has walked the whole of the Sandstone Trail and back in just 33 hours, raising over £1,000 in a bid to raise awareness about the little known Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS).
Chris Webster decided to undertake this challenge to help educate people about this rare condition, from which his wife Clára suffered during her twin pregnancy.
The Helsby & Elton GP Practice are beginning their 2020 flu vaccination drive, and encourage those eligible to book their appointment now.
The Practice said: "The flu vaccination campaign in England will be bigger than ever this year.

Ex air stewards Paul Jones and Adrian Leary are flying high as their recently-opened Frodsham-based interiors, gift and coffee shop, Me & Mr Jones, proves to be a big success with the locals.
Paul and Ade, a couple in real life as well as in business, worked together for many years as air stewards with Thomas Cook.

For Clipped-in, the group of artists behind Castle Park Art Centre's upcoming exhibition, Beyond Landscape, this has been a very strange year.
The five friends and colleagues, who work across a variety of media, from textiles to ceramics to charcoal, are united by their love of mountaineering, an activity which inspires many of their pieces.

Weaver Vale Housing Trust have informed Frodsham Town Council that they will not enter into a land swap between Green Gates Park and Meadow Court.
It had been thought that the Housing Trust might build 22 homes on Green Gates, which was reopened during the coronavirus lockdown, while a small community hub and park would be created on the Meadow Court site.

After a year of cancellations, Kingsley Players Youth Theatre is now setting its sights on 2021 for its return to the stage, and already have a new programme of productions in the pipeline.
The Players are hoping to perform Evan Placey's Prounoun, a challenging play about love and gender, in February, followed by Alice in Wonderland in May.
