A Helsby man who had a heart attack on the M56 has been reunited with the resilience firefighters who helped save his life.
Mark Ashton, 56, lost consciousness between junctions 11 and 12 of the motorway at 3pm on Wednesday 8th July, and crashed into the central reservation.

Cheshire West and Chester Council are urging their local communities to behave responsibly, to prevent a spike in Covid-19 cases.
"If we act now, we have time to avoid a new peak in infections and a local lockdown." Council leaders said.
This week, Robert Gleave & Sons garden centre will begin welcoming customers to its new outdoor Willow Tree café.
"For the past seven or eight years, we've had a really successful café within the garden centre, and then Covid hit and we had to close it," says Robert Gleave's Sal Halpin.

Frodsham Town Council is encouraging community organisations and individuals to apply for this year's grant scheme.
The grants aim to support the work and development of small voluntary associations by prioritising groups whose income is less than £10,000 per year and who do not employ paid staff.

New figures show that the number of parking fines handed out in Frodsham car parks and parking spaces has decreased dramatically since 2015.
A Freedom of Information Request by Frodsham Nub News found that, between 2015 and 2019, the number of vehicle owners receiving penalty charge notices from Cheshire West and Chester Council dropped from 557 to 143.

Forestry England and construction firm Willmott Dixon have finished work on Delamere Forest's new visitor centre, which cost £9 million to develop.
The new building, which is the largest redevelopment project ever commissioned by Forestry England, aims to offer more spacious and extensive facilities for the Forest's 750,000 annual visitors.

Frodsham Youth Association is reopening its youth club building today after its summer programme at Castle Park.
In order to keep staff and members safe, there will be new distancing measures in place, including bubbles of just 15 children, who will be asked to keep within a particular area of the youth club for the duration of their time inside.
