A Frodsham woman has told how she was motivated by treatment of refugees, which she described as "horrifying", to show that there is another side to the welcome in the UK for those in need.

Where the house now stands, there really was once a 'castle', but the history of this building is hazy, moulded out of shape by a series of fabrications and untruths.
BBC Breakfast was filming from Frodsham this morning as presenter Louise Minchin began her 2020 London Marathon from the war memorial on Frodsham Hill.
Louise was joined at the misty scene by ITV's Robert Rinder, who was also going to participate in the woodland trail route.
With our newfound summer freedoms being thrown suddenly into question by the spread of new lockdown measures across the country, we might soon be limited once again to picnics and walks in the great outdoors.

Cheshire West and Chester Council have reported that the borough could be put under tighter coronavirus restrictions by next week, if the government decide that it is necessary to curb the rise in cases.
Earlier this week, the Council sent a letter to ministers asking that they consider introducing new rules on household mixing, in order to prevent infections rising to meet the rate in neighbouring Warrington (180 per 100,000 of the population) and Liverpool (288 per 100,000).
