Frodsham ward councillors, Lynn Riley, is urging local residents to sign the public petition against the proposed closure of Frodsham Leisure Centre.
In a blog post this weekend, Cllr Riley criticised Cheshire West and Chester Council's public consultation on the issue.
In March, the country entered its first lockdown.
People were prohibited from travelling far for their daily exercise. As a consequence, many new visitors discovered that we have a hidden gem in Frodsham: Hob Hey Wood.
The obvious answer is probably 'nothing'.
As we heard last night (Saturday 31st October), Thursday 5th November will mark the introduction of a new month-long lockdown.

Bulkeley Hill, with its soft woodland and peaceful views, is our favourite Sandstone Trail walk.
On Monday 2nd November, Frodsham Morrisons will join other stores around the country in offering a 10% discount for school teachers.
All primary and secondary school staff, including office staff and caretakers, will be eligible for this reward if they show their photo ID at the checkout. This reward will be available until 3rd January 2021.

As the number of Covid-19 infection rates continue to rise across the county, members of the public are being encouraged to find other ways to celebrate the spooky festivities safely this Halloween.
That's the message from Cheshire Police, who also want to dissuade people from trick or treating on Halloween night to avoid people mixing in large groups or knocking on the doors of those who are self-isolating.
