The organisers of Frodsham music festival, Tributes on the Hill, have announced that Stick 'n' Step will be their chosen charity for this year's event.

First formed 18 years ago, Stick 'n' Step supports young people with cerebral palsy, providing free education sessions that inspire children to reach their full potential while developing their mobility and confidence.

Stick 'n' Step currently support 104 children at a cost of £5,500 per child per year. The charity receives no government funding and relies on individuals, community groups and local businesses to keep going.

Tributes on the Hill's Mark Rowland said: "We have not really embraced a charity in the early days as we have been concentrating on growing the festival.

"Now it's time to give something back and Stick 'n' Step is a great organisation doing fantastic things for the children.

"It's our pleasure to be involved with them."

A team from Stick 'n' Step will be appearing at Tributes on the Hill to help inform people about their work, so please do say hello if you see them!

Running from 2-4 July, Tributes on the Hill boasts an exciting line-up celebrating a diverse range of artists, from Bruce Springsteen to Ariana Grande to Oasis.

After being cancelled last year due to Covid-19, the festival's return was confirmed on 27 February, with fans reacting enthusiastically to the news.

All 2020 tickets remain valid this time, but if you are yet to book yours, you can visit the Tributes on the Hill website to find out more!

As ever, the festival will be sponsored by local business, Complete Security Service of Frodsham, who have supported the event since it began.
