Traffic stopped on M56 near Helsby due to collision

Traffic is currently at a standstill, with a wait time of up to 40 minutes, on the M56 eastbound between junctions 15 and 14 near Helsby, because of a collision.
The accident occurred at around 2:30pm and traffic officers, firefighters and the North West Ambulance Service are currently at the scene.
There is just over 4.5 miles of slow-moving traffic on approach to the scene of the incident.
