If you run a business that employs up to 10 people in Frodsham, Helsby or the surrounding areas, you could be eligible for a year's free access to Cheshire West and Chester Council's Employee Assistance Programme.
The Employee Assistance Programme provides a range of services to help employees cope with difficult work and personal pressures. It includes telephone counselling 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, face-to-face counselling, critical incident support, information and advice lines, training courses and much more.
Gemma Davies, the Council's Director of Housing and Economy said: "The pandemic has had a significant impact on the mental health and wellbeing of many residents. Small businesses may not have the resources to offer support services for their staff that larger businesses can.
"We are offering free access to our Employee Assistance Programme for 12 months. I would encourage small businesses who feel they could benefit from this support to register their interest."
Businesses with 10 or fewer employees who feel that they would benefit from this service can register their interest here.
Details will be provided on how to access the service which can be shared with employees. The service is confidential and detailed information on any usage will not be shared with the Council or business. Register your interest by 14 May 2021 to be eligible to access this service
