It's Friday, which means it is time for our latest Frodsham Heroes feature!

Today's person, who was nominated by four separate people, has become quite the household name in Frodsham over recent months with his lovely photographs of the town.

Have you guessed who it is yet? Andrew Woolmington of course!

All year, Andrew has been using his daily walks to capture pictures of Frodsham's streets, parks, cafés, shops and countryside, sharing his discoveries with local residents who may have been unable to get out and about.

In December 2020, he also delivered Christmas cards to all of our local businesses, as well as NHS services across the North West.

Now that spring has sprung, Andrew has also been complementing the work of the Frodsham Wombles, picking up bags and bags of litter from locations all around the town.

One of Andrew's nominators wanted to thank him for "his commitment to supporting local businesses throughout the pandemic," while another said that: "His photos have cheered everyone up and he has been doing a great job clearing litter as well."

Thank you Andrew for all the effort and dedication you put into your work!
