The Queens Head pub, on Frodsham High Street, has extended its Eat Out to Help Out discount until the end of September.

Thanks to the pub's renewal of the scheme, customers will be offered a 50% discount on all food and soft drinks on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Government data published last week shows that the Eat Out to Help Out discount has already been applied to 92,000 meals in the Weaver Vale constituency, with £427,000, or an average of £4.65 per meal, being saved.

Countrywide, an astounding 51,364,000 meals have been eligible for the deal, with £295,791,000 being saved.

The Queens Head are continuing to observe government guidelines on hygiene and social distancing, and encourage customers to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
