Frodsham Nub News launches

A new website has launched to serve the town of Frodsham with hyper-local news and what's on - but without any intrusive advertising.
Frodsham Nub News is an online local newspaper solely for Frodsham and the surrounding area.
We are hyper-local, meaning our articles are about what's important for our town.
Unlike other platforms, we do not get any revenue "per click" so we do not need to resort to click-bait, annoying pop-up ads or surveys.
Our aim is for the user to access locally-relevant content in a pleasant viewing format. The site offers Local News, a What's On section, a Local List, Classifieds, Property, Jobs and Live Travel.
Nub News intends to fill the vacuum in local news created by the closure and consolidation of local newspapers.
We want to be at the heart of the Frodsham community. We want to give a voice and an identity back to the town.
We recognise that times are difficult for residents and businesses in the town and we want to help by keeping you informed and promoting our High Street.
Your stories matter to us and we would really love to hear how communities across Frodsham are pulling together to help one another.
Importantly, our business model relies on your input; be it News or What's On. Our "Nub It" button enables local people, a councillor, an MP, the chairman of the rugby or football club or a headteacher to write regular articles.
We also encourage businesses, theatres and restaurants to post events to our What's On page. Be it the local amateur dramatics society or an offer at a local restaurant, we want to promote it. We are also encouraging businesses to promote themselves by joining our Local List - and all of this is absolutely free.
Frodsham Nub News is the perfect platform for your organisation, charity, business, church, school, sports team - anyone in fact - to share your fantastic achievements with the community. We like to write about good news.
While it is intrinsic to publish all types of news, we believe that good, local, community interest stories are hugely popular. All submitted content requires a legitimate name, email and telephone number and is moderated by our Regional Editor, Emma Morgan.
If you would like to find out more, contact Emma at [email protected] - we can also be found on Facebook and Twitter!
