Frodsham & District Round Table are proceeding with plans for a Bonfire Night fireworks display on the Community Field.

The annual November 6 event could not happen in 2020 because of Covid-19 restrictions, but is set to go ahead as normal this year.

At Tuesday's Frodsham Town Council Events Committee meeting, Cllr Pauline Lowrie said: "It's a good [event] because it's done very safely and it stops people from perhaps setting off fireworks from their gardens where it might be less safe."

"It's always very well attended," Cllr Bernie Wade added, "and it brings people into the town, which is a good thing."
