Frodsham's Next Door restaurant has been included in the Michelin Guide for the first time.

Here's what the Guide had to say: "Their family butcher's two shops down has been going for three generations and supplies all of the meats for this charming restaurant.

"It sits within a characterful 17th century timbered house and features a series of low-ceilinged rooms and a lovely internal courtyard.

"Dishes are modern, well-crafted and tasty."

Having opened in 2017, Next Door later scooped Restaurant of the Year at the Cheshire Life Food and Drink awards.

The restaurant has been closed since the first lockdown began in March 2020, but owners Richard and Vicki are making plans for a 2021 reopening.
